Kristen (KK) DeAnne Wooldridge

Kristen DeAnne Wooldridge, "KK" of Terrell, passed away peacefully into Heaven on the morning of March 26, 2022. Kristen was born June 12, 1970 in Terrell to Billy R., Jr., and Elaine (Myers) Wooldridge and she was preceded in death by her father, Billy, and grandparents: Billy R., Sr., and Jewell Wooldridge and Howard and Jimmie Lee Myers. Kristen was a 1988 graduate of Terrell High School after which she moved to Austin. While living in the Central and South Texas area, she was vital in developing the Pallet Repair Company where she worked for many years. She also worked in San Antonio with a steel company and was a valued employee there as well. Kristen loved the outdoors especially going fishing, camping and trips to any beach where she could relax and spend time with family and friends. She was always on the move, enjoying traveling to new places and meeting new people. Kristen’s smile was an instant friend maker to all who met her and she had a wonderful wit and sense of humor that made every visit the most fun. During high school she enjoyed being an athlete and her love of sports never waned in her life and she looked forward to watching all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Her generous heart for others was well known and everyone knew that they could count on Kristen to help in any way needed. A beautiful soul with a heart always for others, she will always be remembered by the many lives that she impacted. Kristen is survived by her mother, Elaine Wooldridge; sisters: Kimberly C. Wooldridge and Heather J. Wooldridge, all of Terrell; son, Justin Donivan; daughter, Maura Donivan; nephews: Donovan “Bailey” Wooldridge and Mason F. Green; grandson, Michael D. Tippins; aunts: Jean Weathers and Liz Jones; brother-in-law, Stacy Green as well as many cousins, extended family and a host of friends, all of which will miss Kristen so much. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Oakland Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm to service time. For those wishing, memorials in Kristen’s name may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1717 N. Frances, Terrell, 75160, where she attended.
