Becky Baugh

Suzette Rebecca Baugh (April 4, 1954 – September 21, 2025) Suzette Rebecca Baugh (Becky), age 71, celebrated her grand heavenly homecoming early Sunday morning, September 21, at her home in Wills Point, TX, during the New Moon Solar Eclipse. – she always had a love and admiration of the stars and heavens, so it was fitting that she chose this day to make her grand exit into the arms of her heavenly Father. As a mom, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin, coworker and friend to so many, Becky was a shining light to all that she encountered. Her big, beautiful smile, and her breathtaking and perfectly manicured long hair will always be remembered. At her core, she embodied a life that was led daily by her strong faith, and her devotion to her family – these were the cornerstones to the life that she built and nurtured so lovingly. As a woman of strong faith, Becky was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Terrell, TX. Becky’s relationship with her Savior was a priority and she lived by the golden rule. Becky’s devotion to being a faithful servant did not stop at the church door. For 37 years, Becky served the Baylor Scott & White Family Medical Center in Terrell, TX. As a constant and reinforcing force, Becky’s smile and spirit welcomed each patient – many of whom she had known her whole life. It was more than a job to Becky – it was part of the very fabric of who she was as it provided her the opportunity to nurture, care for and watch over so many of the community that she loved so dearly. Becky’s calm and patient spirit were naturally aligned to her love for all animals. After relocating from Terrell to Lake Tawakoni, Becky could be found feeding the deer, filling her hummingbird feeders, feeding the ducks and the geese so that she could enjoy watching all of God’s beautiful creatures. Becky is preceded in death by her father, Jim Sweeney. She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Hickman of Wills Point, three sisters, Julie Miller and spouse Chip and children of Wills Point, Beth Cannon and spouse Danny and children of Blanchard, OK, Obie and Jan Crawford and children of Mineral Wells, TX; three sons, Jeremy Baugh of Rockwall, Rusty Baugh and fiancée Ann of Tishomingo, OK (daughters Willow and Marley) and Kevin Handley of Norman, OK. Becky is also survived by a host of previous great-nieces and extended family that she loved and adored. In lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations be made to the Methodist Day School in Terrell, TX or to St Jude Children’s Hospital which were very near and dear to Becky’s heart. . A Celebration of her life will be at 11:00am, Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025 at First United Methodist Church in Terrell. Her family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am to service time.
