Catherine Page

Catherine Caleen Page, 90, of Terrell, Texas passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by loved ones on May 12, 2025. Catherine was born October 20, 1934, to Charles Freeman and Mary Fronia Uloth in Dallas, Texas. She is joyfully welcomed into heaven by her husband, Darrell Ross Page sr., her parents Charles Freeman and Mary Sims, her stepfather, Ross T. Sims, her son, Darrell Ross Page jr., and her brothers Donnie Freeman and Charles Freeman jr. A devout Christian and a member of The Order of the Daughters of the King, Catherine lived a life centered on faith, grace, and service. On a trip to The Holy Land, Catherine felt it had changed her life to walk in the same steps as her savior and felt fulfilled that she had the blessing of completing the trip she dreamt of her whole life. Catherine lived her life as a fabulous artist, she expressed her talents through painting, stained glass, sewing, and even in the design of her own beautiful home. A true lover of the outdoors, Catherine found peace in tending to her garden and caring for the creatures that God blessed this earth with. During her working years Catherine was an accountant for Atlantic Richfield, here is where she worked diligently to provide for her family. Catherine's talent and work ethic distinguished her from her peers and opened doors to career advancement; this provided her with the privilege of being able to retire at the age of 53, just in time to care for and spend time with her grandchildren. Catherine’s family was her greatest treasure; her children and grandchildren brought out her brightest smiles, her quick wit, and her boundless creativity. Left to carry on Catherine's legacy of love and creativity are her children: Thomas Allen Page and wife, Leona Sterling, Vanessa Jean Hunter, and husband Page Hunter; her cousin, Wayne Lindsay; her cherished grandchildren: Mindy Page, Jeremy Page, Corina Dubois, Becky Archer, Digger Page, Caleen Etheridge, Wylie Page, Cora Mae Harris, and Whitney Hunter; 27 great-grandchildren; and several extended family members and friends, all of whom will cherish the memories of Catherine dearly. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church from 10:00 - 11:00 am and a Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am.
