Josue Aaron Ortiz

Josue Aaron Ortiz, beloved son, brother and uncle, of Terrell, passed away on July 24, 2023. Aaron was born April 15, 1994 in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico to Rosa and Praxedis Ortiz. He grew up in Mineola, Tx after which his family moved to Wills Point where he attended school and graduated from Wills Point High School in 2013. Aaron had a unique and caring spirit for his loved ones, his friends, and his ‘babies’ which were his many plants that he lovingly tended. His had an incredible ability to grow and nurture everything he came into contact with-not just plants but friendships, relationships, art and keeping a positive outlook on any part of life. Aaron considered his arborist skills as giving back to the earth as well as investing in, and helping continue, new life. He had a great sense of humor with a lovable and free spirit that was always up for any adventure. Aaron loved getting together with his family and friends. He always wanted to be the brightest in the room-mostly to outshine his sisters! For many years, Aaron worked in the retail and service industry having been a sales associate and, in many cases, a talented bartender. His intelligence and creativity as a ‘mixologist’ allowed him to design and serve one of a kind drinks for the many patrons that came in to see his bright smile and friendly personality. When he wasn’t working, Aaron was a prolific artist at heart-he expressed himself truly in the many paintings and other artworks that he created over the years. His talent was immeasurable and his many friends and family will continue to treasure each work of his art for years to come. His sense and appreciation of art could also be seen in how he dressed because Aaron was always “dressed to impress”! His amazing personality and kind heart endeared him to so many over the years and he will always be remembered for being supportive and encouraging to others. To Aaron, staying positive was important and when a situation arose that was turning a bit negative, Aaron would let others know, in a gentle way, that “God don’t like ugly”! A million more stories and beloved attributes can be told about Aaron and his family knows there aren’t enough pages to tell them all. His life will always embody kindness, bravery, strength and his family and friends will be honored to carry Aaron’s legacy of unconditional love into their future generations. Aaron’s memory will forever continue to be cherished by his parents, Praxedis and Rosa Ortiz; his siblings: Maria Ortiz, Projedis Ortiz and wife, Angelita Ortiz Vasquez , Viviana Galvan and husband, Luis Galvan , Urbano Ortiz, Rosa Ortiz and husband, Kevin Ayres and Moises Ortiz a; seven nephews; 7 nieces and 2 great nieces as well other extended family and many friends. Funeral service will be at 12:00pm, Friday, July 28, 2023 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel with his family receiving friends beginning at 11:00am to service time. Aaron nacio el 15 de Abril de 1994 en Acuna Coahuila Mexico a su Madre Rosa y Padre Praxedis Ortiz. El crecio en Mineola Tx en el transcurso de los anos la familia se movio para Wills point Tx donde el asistio a la escuela y se graduo de Wills point High School en el ano 2013. Aaron tenia un-Espiritu unico y era carinoso con sus seres queridos , amigos y sus ‘babies’ cuales eran sus plantas que amorosamente cuidaba. Tenia una capacidad increible de crecer y nutrir todo lo que estaba en contacto con el no nomas sus plantas pero tambien con sus amistades, y su arte y mantenia una perspectiva positiva en cualquier aspecto de la vida. Considero sus habilidades como arboricultor como algo que el le devolvia a la tierra. Tenia un gran sentido del humor con un Espiritu amable y libre el siempre estuvo listo para una aventura. Le encantaba reunirse con su familia y amigos. Siempre sobresalia especialmente cuando sus hermanas estaban con el. Durante muchos anos, Aaron trabajo en la industria minorista y de servicios, habiendo sido asociado de ventas en muchos casos de un bartender talentoso. Su inteligencia y creatividad como mixologo le permitio disenar y servir bebidas unicas para las personas que acudian a ver su sonrisa brillante y personalidad amistosa. Cuando no estaba trabajando Aaron era un artista prolifico . Se expreso verdaderamente en las muchas pinturas y otras obras de arte que creo a lo largo de los anos. Su talento era inconmensurable y sus familiares y amigos seguiran atesorando cada obra de su arte en los anos venideros. Su sentido y aprecio por el arte Tambien se podia ver en la forma en que vestia porque Aaron siempre “Vestia para Impresionar.” Su increible personalidad y su corazon bondadoso gano el carino de muchos a lo largo de los anos y siempre sera recordado por brindar apoyo y alentar a los demas. Para Aaron mantenerse positivo era importante y cuando surgia una situacion que se estaba volviendo un poco negativa, Aaron les hacia saber a los demas de una manera amable “ que a Dios no le gusta las cosas feas.” Se pueden escribir un millon de historias mas y atributos queridos sobre Aaron, y su familia sabe que no hay suficientes paginas para contarlas todas. Su vida siempre encarnara la bondad, y la valentia y la fortaleza, y su familia y amigos se sentiran honrados de llevar el legado de amor incondicional de Aaron a sus generaciones futuras. La memoria de Aaron seguira siendo atesorada para siempre por sus padres Praxedis y Rosa Ortiz; hermanos y hermanas : Maria Ortiz, Projedis Ortiz y su esposa Angelita Ortiz Vasquez, Viviana Galvan Ortiz y su esposo Luis Galvan, Urbano Ortiz, Rosa Ortiz y su esposo Kevin Ayres, y Moises Ortiz, 7 sobrinas, 7 sobrinos, y 2 segundas sobrinas, asi como otros familiares y muchos amigos. Los servicios funebres seran alas 12:00 pm el Viernes 28 de Julio del 2023 en Max Slayton Funeral Chapel con su familia recibiendo amigos a partir de las 11:00am a la hora de servicio.
