Michelle Lee Trosper

Michelle Lee Trosper, of Terrell, passed into the presence of her Savior on March 11, 2026. She was born May 26, 1970 in Flint, MI to Gordon and Bonnie Guile and she was joyfully met in Heaven by her mom, Bonnie, and her son, Jeremiah Trosper, and father-in-law, Ron Trosper. Michelle was a veteran of the US Navy, where she served with honor and distinction. After her service to her country, she became an educator and, most recently, worked at Quinlan ISD as a Special Education teacher where she was loved by both students and other colleagues. When not working, Michelle loved painting and photography and her eye for creative scenes were easily captured in her own designs. She loved traveling and had many special memories of trips while stationed in Sicily, sailing in San Francisco Bay and attending family reunions. Michelle loved all her family members completely and unreservedly, but being a grandmother became the highlight of her life. She had a great balance of spoiling them but still helping them see that each were equally important and many of their activities ended up with laughter, giggling and a great time for each of her precious grandbabies. She and Scott were members of Lakepointe Church in Rockwall where she was able to help others see the message from the Lord that was so close to her heart: “God is the God of second chances” and Michelle made sure to show that same unconditional love to everyone she met. Despite her diagnosis and challenges with MS, her smile was as bright as a clear, spring day and her ability to make others feel good about themselves will always be the treasured legacy that Michelle leaves to everyone who loved her. She leaves her memory to be forever cherished to her husband, Scott Trosper; daughter, Bethany Trosper; son, Angel Vasquez; grandchildren: Zoey Trosper, Angel Vasquez Soto, Thomas Trosper, and Estella Vasquez; siblings: Michael Guile, Daniel Guile, Jean Johnson, Christopher Guile, Katrina Ekman, Rene Ekman, Tronda Falck, Chad Falck, Kari Downs, Mike Downs, Michelle Sparks; father, Gordon Guile and, mother-in-law, Vicki Trosper along with several nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends. A celebration of her life and legacy will be at 6:30pm, Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel where all are invited to share the many memories of Michelle and how she made every day a bit better in this world.
