Raymond Lee Sanchez passed away on November 24, 2024, in Terrell, Texas. He was born to Juan and Maria Sanchez on July 2, 1999, in Kaufman, Texas. Raised in Terrell, Raymond graduated from Terrell High school on May 18, 2018. He was a proud Tiger, excelling on and off the football field. Raymond was a natural mechanic and always challenged himself to learn as much as he could to fix anything he touched. Along with his intellect, Raymond was a hard worker and was always finding jobs or tasks to accomplish. Raymond had an affinity for fitness and health for not only himself but his family. He was a staple at the gym and always encouraged his loved ones to live healthy. He was able to teach fitness routines to anyone interested in learning. Raymond considered kinesiology studies, but he would always say he can find all the info for free and save on costs. He was also an entrepreneur and started a side hustle for extra income to help lift himself and his family up. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his cousins, often playing football with them when they were kids. Did we mention he loved going to the gym? Along with athletics, Raymond was a movie buff with a specific interest in Star Wars. He was a huge George Lucas fan and would talk about Star Wars to anyone that wanted to learn some interesting facts or simply talk about the subject. With Raymond, there are so many memories that it’s hard to pick just one or ten as a favorite. His wife, Alondra, would watch him with admiration while he was interacting with his children. Her heart would swell with every laugh and smile exchanged between them. He was naturally a good father to both Dahlia and Levi and was an even greater partner to Alondra. Raymond’s brothers remember him fondly, whether it was George jumping out of the laundry room to scare him and Raymond getting revenge by grabbing George’s foot from under the kitchen table or playing XBOX games and LEGOS with Alex. He and Alex would take late night drives listening to The Weeknd's ‘Tears in the Rain’ while conversing about their futures and further tightening the bonds between them. Raymond was a sentimental family man. He treasured moments with his family and loved them deeply. When his mother, Maria surprised him with mariachis and fireworks for his birthday, Raymond teared up seeing his family gather around to celebrate his special day. There were sayings he would say at every family gathering and vacation that cannot be named but God Bless, he had no filter. He could make his siblings laugh until they cried as well as lift up his loved ones no matter what they were going through. He encouraged them to make healthy choices at the dinner table and could be found at the head of the table making jokes and bringing laughter about. A selfless, loving, generous man, Raymond will be missed immensely by his family and friends. Left to carry Raymond’s spirit on is his wife, Alondra Rodriguez and their beautiful children: Dahlia Angelica Pacheco-Sanchez and Levi Raymond Sanchez. Also left to remember Raymond are his parents: Maria G Sanchez and Juan Alberto Sanchez; brothers: Albert Sanchez, George J Sanchez, Charlee Sanchez, Alexis Alejandre; cousins: The Alejandre Family, The Villanueva family, The Lozada family, The Sanchez family and many extended family and friends. *** Raymond Lee Sanchez falleció el 24 de noviembre de 2024 en Terrell, Texas. Raymond, un hombre desinteresado, cariñoso y generoso, su familia y amigos extrañarán inmensamente. Para continuar con el espíritu de Raymond quedan su esposa, Alondra Rodríguez y sus hermosos hijos: Dahlia Angelica Pacheco-Sanchez y Levi Raymond Sanchez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, on Monday, December 2, 2024, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Terrell, Texas, with a procession to Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell, where he will be laid to rest. The family will receive friends from 5pm - 6:30pm, on Sunday, December 1, 2024. A Recitation of Rosary will be from 6:30 - 7pm, the same evening.
