Stacie Lanette Rose

Stacie Lanette Rose July 1, 1965 - May 25, 2025 Stacie Lanette Rose of Canton, Texas, passed away peacefully into the arms of her loving Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with cancer on May 25, 2025 with family near her side. She was greeted in Heaven by her dad, Joe K. Williams, Sr., her grandparents, as well as many others who have gone to their prepared place before her. Stacie was born on July 1, 1965 in Terrell, Texas to Gloria and Joe K. Williams, Sr. and brought with her smiles and laughter. Stacie loved the Lord, loved life, and loved her family. Flowers, praise and worship music along with simple things brought a smile to her face and a song to her heart. She graduated from Terrell High School in 1983 and lived in several states before coming back home to Texas. Stacie received an Associates Degree and she worked for 14 years as a National Certified Paralegal, first for a law firm and, later, she started her own business in Charleston, SC. From there, she went on to serve as a full-time mom and home-school teacher to six cherished children. They brought her great joy and she had a mother's heart of love for each child. She served as Director of Women's Ministry and then later as Director of Children's Ministry. She joined First Baptist Church of Terrell in October 2024 with all family present. Stacie is survived by her six children: Dwight and wife Andrea, Matthew and Jasenya, Ella, Noble, Loyal and Melissa; mother, Gloria Williams; brother, Ken Williams and wife Kathy; sister, Sherry Tolar and husband Rodney; niece, Emily Williams; nephew: Jordan Williams and wife Paige; great-niece and great-nephew, McLaine and Caleb; Uncle Marvin and Aunt Paula Johnson and many cousins and loving friends, including her Special Terrell Girls. Funeral service will be at 12:00pm, Friday, May 30, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Terrell with visitation beginning at 11:00am prior to service time. Interment will follow at College Mound Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Stacie's family requests donations in her memory to be made to the FBC Terrell Choir Ministry at www.fbcterrell.org/donate or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at www.bcrf.org.
