Alejandra Villarreal passed away on January 7, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born August 27, 1930 in San Bartolo, Texas to Jose and Narcissa Coronado, both of whom preceded her in death along with her husband Eduardo Villarreal, son-in-law, Guadalupe Garza, 6 sisters, 5 brothers and one great-great-grandchild, Blessing Marie Elizondo. Alejandra was devoted to her family and they were the lights of her life after the passing of her beloved husband, Eduardo. She enjoyed cooking for them at family get-togethers as well as just relaxing with them and catching up on their lives. Her wise counsel combined with her gentle spirit encouraged not only her family but also the many people that she met in her life. While her family will forever hold her memory in their hearts, they take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with the love of her life, Eduardo, whom she has missed so very much. Alejandra is survived by her children: Maria Elena Garza, Eduardo Villarreal and wife, Veronica, Joe Luis Villarreal and wife, Kris, Juan Antonio Villarreal and wife, Suzanne, Maria De Los Angeles Garcia and husband, Fred, Jose Angel Villarreal and wife, Irene, and Rosa Linda Bautista; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who will all carry her unconditional love as a treasured heritage for generations to come. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Friday, January 11, 2019, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 702 N. Frances St., Terrell, 75160, with Rev. James P. Orosco as celebrant. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 10, at Max Slayton Funerals and Cremations. Alejandra’s family will receive friends at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home.
