    Alvie Marical

    January 5, 1940 - December 28, 2020

    Alvie Clarence Marical, of Terrell, passed away on Dec. 28, 2020 in Dallas. Alvie was born Jan. 5, 1940 in Dallas to Hershell and Frankie Inez (Perry) Marical, both of whom preceded him in death along with his brothers, Charles and Glen Marical. Alvie married Diann Chandler on June 7, 1976 and they made their home in Terrell. He worked for, and retired from, Falcon Steel where he was a dedicated employee. Alvie was Baptist by faith during his life and enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing. He enjoyed raising chickens, spending time with family and friends and his sense of humor was a wonderful part of all of his many friendships. A devoted family man and loyal friend, Alvie will be missed by all who knew him. Alvie is survived by his wife, Diann Chandler Marical; children: Tonda Scott and husband, Shane, Michael Marical, Wendy Anderson and husband Kevin, Jenny Marical, Charles Marical and wife, Lucilla, and Kurt Marical and wife, Priscilla; grandchildren: Dylan, Drake, Andrew, Nicholas, Steven, Jeana, Mauricio, Manny, Kammy, Dustin, Xavier, Jeremy and Brinkley; great grandchildren: Amya, Mason, Alex and Vincent, Ethan, Hunter, Brayden, and Ollie; sisters: Katherine Caldwell and husband, Wayne, Ginger Purkey, Mary Jo Houston and husband, Dennis, Dolly Apostolo, Glenda Dacus and husband, Ricky, Charlene Rohus and husband, Jimmy; brothers: Johnny Marical and wife, Judy, Cleve Marical and wife, Janis as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel with the family receiving friends beginning at 12:30 to service time.
