Arlinda Lee Wolverton

September 25, 1948 - April 24, 2017

Arlinda Lee Wolverton, age 68, joined her Savior on Monday, April 24, 2017 at her home in Garland, Texas. Arlinda was born September 25, 1948, in Whitney, Texas and was the daughter of William H. “Bill” and Virginia Clements. After a 15-year battle, Arlinda is cancer free. Knowing this path was God’s plan for her, she fought with dignity and grace and never questioned why. Her strength was evident until she exhaled one last time surrounded by her loved ones. Arlinda is survived by her husband and best friend of almost 40 years, Jack, two children, Leighann Carson and husband John, Rob Davison and wife Jackie, and five grandchildren who were the light of her life, Maggie (17), Blake (15), Jesse (14), Reese (10) and Lily (16 months). She is also survived by her extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a large group of friends. Arlinda was a proud daughter of Jesus Christ and walked this earth with a servant's heart, always extending the Lord's kindness and grace to everyone she met. She and Jack called Lakepointe Church home and treasured the friendships made through their Life Group (Sunday School) class. Arlinda’s family invites all to attend her "Celebration of Life" on Friday, April 28th, at 1:00 p.m. at Pier 4:19 at Lakepointe Church in Rockwall. Guests are invited to visit with family and friends immediately following her service at the home of Rob and Jackie Davison.
