    Charles "Chuck" Edward Crutcher Jr.

    September 12, 1964 - July 26, 2020

    Charles Edward Crutcher, Jr. (Chuck), formerly of Terrell, TX passed away peacefully on July 26, 2020 at his home with family; as he had wished for. Chuck was born September 12, 1964 in Ft. Worth, TX to Charles Crutcher Sr. and Juanita Marie Brown (Miller). He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Carl Miller and Maudine Littleton, James “Jim” and Annie Ruth Crutcher and other extended family members. Chuck graduated from Terrell High School in 1984. He loved taking road trips, baking pies, grilling and eating steak, being outside, taking care of animals, going to live music concerts, watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, and fishing. Chuck enjoyed many days with family and friends with all the above hobbies and interests playing a part in making treasured memories. He also was an avid game player with his favorite games being dominoes, shoot the moon, 42, trivial pursuit, and farkle aka 10,000. Chuck was a quiet, reserved and private man with a warrior spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Chuck is survived by his daughter’s: Cheri Román and husband, Cristian, of Dallas, TX; Jordan Mooney and husband, Kyle, of Tyler, TX; son, Christopher Crutcher, Sr. of Sulphur Springs, TX; mother, Marie Brown and husband, Dave, of Lazbuddie, TX; father, Charles Crutcher, Sr. and wife, Frances, of Elmo, TX; grandchildren: Ariel Crutcher, Christopher Crutcher, Jr., Aralynn Dossey, Raigyn Dossey, and Addilynn Mooney; sister, Cindy Towsley and husband, Fred of Terrell, TX; brothers, Eddie Black and wife, Leslie of Whitehouse, TX, Tim Black and partner, Brandy, of Wills Point, TX, and Kevin Black of Forney, TX; niece, Cheryl Blasius and partner, Shannon, of Terrell, TX as well as other extended family and a host of friends. Funeral service for Chuck will be at 1:00pm on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Oakland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Thursday, July 30,2020 at the funeral home.
