Dana Babbette Moore

Dana Babbette Moore, of Midlothian, passed away August 4, 2020 in Waxahachie, TX. Dana was born Feb. 25, 1971 in Dallas, TX and was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest & Bennie Owens, uncles: Glenn & Bengie Owens and her son’s Dad, Scott Moore; also numerous family and friends. Dana was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She had a heart of gold. Dana was loyal to a fault. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. Dana was always smiling and the Life of any Party she was at. She made sure that everyone around her was having fun. In her younger days, she participated in Tae Kwon Do tournaments and absolutely loved it. Dana never had much but was always willing to share anything she had. Dana will definitely be missed by all who knew her. Momma, you have finally earned your wings. Fly High “Babygirl”. Dana is survived by her husband, Justin Jennings; sons: Dalton Moore & wife, Tory, Dylan Moore Smith; parents, Brenda & Danny Smith; sisters: Shawnde Dennis & husband, Pooh, Jenny Kinsey & husband, John; brother, Troy Smith & wife, Jill; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday August 10, 2020 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel with a 2:30 pm graveside at Merit Cemetery in Merit, TX. Family will receive friends 4 pm to 6 pm Sunday, August 9, at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel.
