    Jordan Jaroszewski

    April 6, 2000 - March 16, 2021

Jordan Michael Jaroszewski passed away Tuesday March 16, 2021. He was born April 6, 2000 in Bruton, Alabama and was met in Heaven by his grandfathers: Vincent “Vinny” Jaroszewski and John Goggins as well as his aunt Debbie Goggins. Jordan was a 2018 graduate of North Forney High School where he was always known to have a smile and encouraging word for his friends and other students. He was an active member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Talty where he was involved in the Columbian Squires and, most recently, serving in the Knights of Columbus. Jordan had a caring and giving personality which helped him to make instant friends of all who met him, and he truly never met a stranger. His heart was as big as his smile and his generosity to others was very well known-even stopping on the side of the road to help a stranded motorist or a person walking-and Jordan made sure others were taken care of in every way. He loved spending time with family and friends including his best friends, Chance and Buddy, his beloved dogs. A wonderful young man with a heart devoted to others’ happiness, Jordan’s legacy of selfless love will be proudly carried on by his family and friends. Jordan is survived by his parents, Mike and Elaine Jaroszewski, of Forney; siblings: Morgan Jaroszewski, Shannon Glass, Justin Harvey and Ryan Atkins; grandmothers: Mary Louise Goggins and Romaine Szudarski and Grandpa Mel; aunts and uncles: John Goggins, Lisa Goggins, Judy and Randy Coats, Janet and John Shimala and Misty Green, as well as numerous cousins, extended family and a host of friends, all of whom will miss Jordan greatly. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00pm, Friday, March 19, 2021 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church with the family receiving friends beginning at 12:00pm to service time. Visitation will also be 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Jordan’s family asks that donations be made to NAMI-Kaufman County at https://namitexas.org/make-a-donation/ or to the Forney Animal Shelter Wish List at https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/22CPMYM6UH3D7?ref_=wl_fv_le in memory of Jordan’s incredible love for others and animals.
