May 11, 1934 - October 6, 2021
Mary Leetta McCulley, also lovingly known as “Lee” or “Kink” passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 6, 2021 in Dallas. She was born May 11, 1934 in Perrin, Tx to John Mitchell and Mamie Elizabeth Smith Hill and they both welcomed her into Heaven along with her brother, Curtis Hill, along with many other family and friends that had gone on before her. Mary graduated high school in Perrin and was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. She retired from Schlumberger, a petroleum industrial company, after 42 years of dedicated service where she made many great relationships. She was also an active volunteer at Riter C. Hulsey Library where she loved spending time reading and visiting with other patrons about the best books they had read. Mary loved traveling the world and seeing new sights and making memories, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her great grandbabies, Gage and Emma, and they both brought her a tremendous amount of joy seeing the world through their eyes. Her parents and a brother Curtis Hill also preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Mike McCulley and Mark McCulley; granddaughter, Amanda Zientek; great grandchildren, Gage and Emma; her sister, Deen Hood along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. A celebration of Mary’s life will be at 11:00am, Monday, October 11, 2021 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel. There will be an inurnment at Perrin Cemetery at a later date.
