Paul Conrad Clements, Jr.

Paul Clements, of Terrell, passed away into the presence of his Lord and Savior on April 29, 2016, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 13, 1951, in Dallas to Paul, Sr. and Martha Clements both of whom welcomed him into Heaven along with his daughter, Laurie Clements and his sister, Belinda Barrick. Paul had a passion for excellence in both his personal and professional life. He worked for over 40 years with CCMC where his work ethic was celebrated. To quote his supervisor, and best friend, Ed Boudreau, who was the founder and Chairman Emeritus of CCMC, Paul “represented the finest qualities of our company: integrity, loyalty, dedication and the ability to meet any challenge.” His devotion to his colleagues was exceeded only by his devotion to his family. He was a rock that they could find a firm foundation of support and love. He served his Lord with a joyful heart and was an active and dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Just recently, he was able to fulfill a longtime goal of owning a fully restored red 1981 Corvette and to say that he delighted in finally owning his dream car is an understatement! He had a sense of humor that could put anyone at ease in any situation and his easy smile and genuine personality will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Paul is survived by his wife, Rhonda Clements, of Terrell; daughter, Teresa Morrison and husband, Donald, of Terrell; son, Rod Clements of Terrell; grandchildren: Brittany Patton and husband, Dillon, Heather Morrison, Nicholas Clements, Anthony Clements and Mariah Clements; great grandchild, Conrad Clements; brothers: Steve Clements and wife, Carla, of Terrell and David Clements, of Terrell; sisters: Karen Purdy and husband, Archie, of Wills Point and Patti Smith and husband, Jackie, of Terrell as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved Paul as completely as he loved them. Funeral service will be at 10:00am, Monday, May 2, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1550 CR 303, Terrell, 75160 with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 2-4pm, Sunday, May 1, at Max Slayton Funerals and Cremations, 642 N. Rockwall Ave., Terrell, 75160. In celebration of Paul’s legacy of serving others, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1550 CR 303, Terrell, TX, 75160.
