Bruce Lynn Ingram

Bruce Lynn Ingram entered Heaven on August 17, 2026, at the age of 46. Bruce was born on September 1, 1979, in Dallas, Texas, to Sharon and Steve Ingram. He was the second of four children. He is survived by his siblings, Kelly Cantu, Alicia Ingram, and Stephen Ingram. Bruce married the love of his life, Sandra Tanner, on August 17, 2026, his last day on earth. It was a bittersweet moment, but it was something Bruce wanted, and he was able to spend that precious time with the woman he loved before passing into Heaven. Bruce loved being outside. Whether he was fishing, working in the yard, helping someone, or simply enjoying time outdoors, that was where he seemed happiest. The following words, written by Rachel Cantu, describe Bruce perfectly: Heaven is a whole lot more exciting now that Bruce has entered those pearly gates. One thing I can say about Bruce is that he was the kind of person you could meet just once and never forget. Bruce was a simple man. He didn’t want much, and he didn’t need much. And what he did have, he would just as easily give away to someone who needed it, or sometimes just to someone who looked like they wanted it. That was Bruce. I don’t know how God managed to fit so much energy, happiness, and life into one human being. He was always doing something, always helping somebody, and never seemed to expect anything in return. I can’t tell you how many times I would look out my window and see Bruce mowing our yard simply because he had finished mowing the neighbor’s and thought ours looked a little tall. He was the guy you called when you needed help, because somehow you just knew Bruce would show up. I’m going to miss that smile. I’m going to miss his energy. And I’m really going to miss watching him tell a story, because if you knew Bruce, you know that watching him tell the story was half the entertainment. A whole community is grieving right now, and his family thinks that says everything about the kind of man he was. There are some people who leave a space behind that you immediately realize can never really be filled. Bruce was one of those people. We are going to miss you, Bruce. Heaven gained one unforgettable soul. A Celebration of Bruce's life and legacy is being planned by his family for a later date.
