Cole Kilmer

Cole Allen Kilmer, beloved son, husband, brother, uncle and friend to so many, passed away, along with his father, Brian Kilmer, on June 22, 2026. Cole was born November 17, 1996 to Brian and Stephanie Kilmer in Dallas, TX. He was joyfully met by his grandmother, Coleen Kilmer, who passed on May 9, 2025. While the family grieves the tremendous loss of Cole and Brian, they take comfort in knowing that Coleen was there to joyfully welcome them both into Heaven, forever together. Cole loved learning and he had a avid passion to research and find out as much as he could about so many different subjects and interests with history being especially fascinating. Cole truly knew something about everything and every conversation with him allowed others to think about situations in a new light. He worked with his dad, Brian, at Kaufman County, Pct. 1 for many years. After working together at Kaufman County, Cole and Brian then began working together again at Ellis County, Pct. 1. Being able to work together for so long was a gift that neither Brian or Cole took for granted. In his spare time, Cole loved playing his guitar, going to concerts and experiencing every day as a new chance for adventure and knowledge. After meeting his soulmate, a wonderful young lady named Alex, whose boundless energy matched Cole equally, they married on September 26, 2020 and filled their days with journeys built on great conversations, unconditional love and the greatest respect for each other. His fun loving personality made instant friends of all who met him and Cole’s memory will be forever held dear by all who loved him. Cole’s heritage of everlasting love and devotion will be carried on by his wife, Alexandria Kilmer; his mother, Stephanie Kilmer; siblings: Jessica Drake and husband, Randy, Brianna Kilmer, Patrick Kilmer and Savanna Kilmer; grandfather, Bobby Kilmer along with nieces and a nephew: Braleigh, Kynleigh, Patience and Joey and many other beloved extended family and friends. Funeral service will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at First Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Elmo Cemetery.
