Moises Nunez

Moises Nunez Ixtepan was born in San Andres Tuxtla, Veracruz, Mexico on March 1, 1963. He passed away on September 23rd, 2021 in Rowlett, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents Ramon Nunez and Francisca Ixtepan de Nunez. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Areli Nunez and his children Libni Abisahi Nunez, Genesis Jahdai Nunez and Moises Ibhar Nunez, granddaughter Naylani Sarmiento. He is also survived by his siblings Soledad Nunez, Dolores Nunez, Ramon Nunez, Jose Nunez, Reyna Nunez and Alonso Nunez and many nieces and nephews. Moises moved to Mexico City, Mexico in 1983 and joined the Mexican Armed Forces as part of the Mexican 3rd Battalion Fourth Company Parachuters. In 1986 through 1996, he attended the University Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City and graduated as a Licensed Sport Trainer. Within that time period, Moises obtained several recognitions such as certified marathon trainer, a judge on the Mexican Olympic Committee, a runner on the Mexican Army National Marathon Team, became certified trainer for sports athletics, trainer in athletics, trainer in soccer, and was a Physical Education Professor. On December 24,1998, Moises married the love of his life Areli Vazquez. They met one summer morning while he was out training for a marathon. They both lived on the same street in San Andres Tuxtla, Veracruz. She lived a few blocks away and one day that he was running he saw this beautiful young girl with green eyes and blonde hair. It was instant love and he knew that she would be the mother of his children. He actually would tell that to his cousin Hector. Areli would walk down the street every morning on her way to work and Moises would soon follow her, The rest is history. In June 1999, they moved from Veracruz, Mexico to Terrell, Texas. Moises became a volunteer soccer coach in 2006 with the Terrell Soccer Association. He enjoyed the sport and coaching all three of his kids until the time of his death. Moises was called to serve God while in Mexico and when he arrived in Texas he was able to fulfil this by attending the Bible Institute Esmirna in Dallas, Texas. He graduated as a Pastor in 2012. He loved being a servant of God and in 2015 Moises became a U.S. Christian Chaplain. He loved this so much that in 2020 he told his daughter that if anything should happen to him to please dress him in his Chaplain uniform. Partió con el Señor el 23 de septiembre del año 2021 en la ciudad de Rowlett, Texas. Era hijo de Ramón Núñez y Francisca Ixtepan de Núñez. Le sobreviven su esposa Areli Nunez y sus hijos Libni Abisahi Nunez, Genesis Jahdai Nunez y Moises Ibhar Nunez, nieta Naylani Sarmiento, sus hermanos son Soledad Nunez, Dolores Nunez, Ramon Nunez, Jose Nunez, Reyna Nunez y Alonso Nunez. Moisés se mudó a la Ciudad de México D.F , en 1983 y se unió a las Fuerzas Armadas Mexicanas. De 1983 a 1986 Moisés formó parte del 3er Batallón de las Fuerzas Armadas Mexicanas de la cuarta compañía de paracaidistas. De 1986 a 1996 asistió a la escuela nacional de entrenadores deportivos en la Ciudad de México y se graduó como licenciado en educación física. En 1989 Moisés se certificó en entrenador de maratón y ese mismo año también fue juez del Comité Olímpico Mexicano. Desde 1989 hasta 1993, Moisés participó en la Selección Nacional del Ejército Mexicano como corredor de maratón y ganó muchos premios. Durante el período de 1991 se certificó como entrenador de Deportivo de atletismo. En 1993 se certificó como Entrenador Auxiliar de Atletismo, en 1994 se certificó como entrenador en Atletismo y fútbol. Luego, en 1996 se certificó como entrenador de atletismo y profesor de educación física. El 24 de diciembre de 1998, Moisés se casó con el amor de su vida, Areli Vázquez. Se conocieron una mañana de verano mientras Moisés estaba entrenando para un maratón. Moisés y Areli vivían en la misma calle de San Andrés Tuxtla Veracruz. Ella vivía a unas cuadras de distancia y un día que estaba corriendo vio a esta hermosa joven de ojos verdes y cabello rubio. Fue amor instantáneo y supo que ella sería la madre de sus hijos. De hecho, se lo diría a su primo Héctor Campos. Areli caminaba por la calle todas las mañanas de camino al trabajo. Moisés notó este patrón y comenzó a esperar a que ella bajara la cuadra y caminara con ella hasta donde le permitiera. Durante estos paseos empezó a conocerla más; lo curioso es que nunca le dijo dónde trabajaba. Moisés comenzó a investigar quién era ella y dónde trabajaba. Areli trabajaba en una mueblería y una vez que la descubrió empezó a dedicarle canciones en la radio y el resto es historia. En junio de 1999 se mudaron de San Andrés Tuxtla Veracruz a Terrell, Tejas. De 2006 a 2021 fue entrenador de fútbol voluntario en la asociación de football soccer en terrell tx . Donde amaba entrenar a sus tres hijos. En 2012, Moisés se graduó como pastor del Instituto Bíblico Smyrna en Dallas, Texas. A Moisés le encantaba ser un siervo de Dios. Moisés fue llamado a servir a Dios mientras estaba en México y cuando llegó a Texas pudo cumplir con este llamado. En 2015, Moisés se convirtió en capellán cristiano de EE. UU. En 2020 le dijo a su hija que si algo le pasaba a él, quería vestirse con su uniforme de capellán porque amaba a la gente.
