Pamela Tallant

Pamela “Pam” Joyce Tallant, age 69, made her grand heavenly entrance on the morning of Monday, October 6th, 2025, at her home in Terrell, Texas. Pam was born May 2nd,1956, in Kaufman, Texas, to Harmon Lee Smith and Marion Virginia Smith. Pam is welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Harmon and Marion Smith, as well as her dear sister, Cynthia Vickers. Pam was a devoted wife, whose nearly 50 years of marriage with Guy were filled with love and faith. She was a proud mother of two and a joyful Nana to four grandchildren, as well as a cherished sister, daughter, coworker, church member, and friend to all who knew her. Pam was a beacon of light to everyone she crossed paths with and she will always be remembered for her bright, beautiful smile and warm spirit. At her core, Pam was an amazing woman of faith who served Jesus, her family, and her community. Professionally, Pam dedicated 33 years as a business manager and comptroller for multiple General Motors locations, including Heritage GMC and Musser Motors in Terrell. Pam joyfully served her church community at Abner Baptist Church as a Sunday School teacher, singer, and treasurer; the Lord and her family were her prized possessions. In her free time, Pam enjoyed sewing projects for her loved ones and searching for unique treasures at garage sales. Pam loved to cook for her friends and family—often hosting Sunday lunches, Thanksgiving feasts, and Christmas gatherings. Pam set the perfect example of what it means to be a servant of the Lord, wife, mother, and friend who had nothing but love to give. Pam's legacy of love is left to be carried on by her beloved husband, Guy Tallant; son, Dustin Tallant and wife, Jessica; daughter, Crystal Pittman and husband, Chase; grandchildren: Dawson Tallant, Jadyn Tallant, Harper Pittman, and Avery Pittman; brothers: Harmon Allen Smith and Norman Smith; sisters: Laquinta Andrew and Debbie Barron as well as many other extended family members and friends, each of whom cherished Pam dearly. Funeral service will be at 11:00am, Friday, October 10, 2025 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel in with interment to follow at Morrow Chapel Cemetery. Pam's family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the funeral home.
