Reneá Keitch

Reneá Keitch, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on October 9, 2022. Reneá was born July 25, 1960 in Grand Saline, TX to Anthony and Wanda Sabella, both of whom preceded her in death along with her brother, Dennis Sabella, and her nephews, Clint Hubbard and Remington Sabella. Having grown up in a big family (she was one of 6 children) in a small town, Reneá had a strong sense of togetherness and love for others. Her beautiful smile and her warm personality made others instantly at ease when they met her. She had a passion for teaching reading to students and was a gifted educator for many years having attained her Bachelors and Masters in Education from University of Texas at Tyler. She worked at many school districts and, most recently, at Kemp ISD where she taught as a 5th grade reading specialist. Reneá also loved to watch old black and white movies (especially ones with John Wayne and Elvis), cook, do crafts including t-shirts and any activity with her grandkids, each of whom she doted on and spoiled. She also enjoyed shopping for anything with anyone and Reneá always had an eye for a deal. Her spirit was always a great example of dedication, strong mindedness, overcoming any obstacles and she was always genuine. With Reneá, you could always count on her speaking her mind and staying true to her convictions. She leaves to cherish her memory to her beloved husband, Bobby Keitch, of Terrell; children: Matthew Holt and wife, Mandy of Athens, Tana Holt Edmiston and husband, Brian, of Terrell and Kelly Keitch of Dallas; grandchildren: Trinity Laymance and husband, Jacob, Colby Holt, Ariel Holt, Bella Holt, Colton Edmiston, Bobby Edmiston and Nathan, David and Hunter; siblings: Randy Sabella and wife, Marlena, Pam Lide, David Sabella and wife, Ree, and Ken Sabella and wife, Crystal as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, past and present students and a host of many friends, all of whom will miss her dearly and never forget her. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel. Her family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm to service time.
