Roberto Gonzalez

Roberto Gonzalez passed away peacefully on June 18th,2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jesus, Maurilio, Rogelio and Humberto Gonzalez. Roberto was born on September 01,1946 in Suchil, Durango to Gregorio Gonzalez and Ma. Reyes Moreno. He married the love of life Victoria in 1978. After moving to Terrell, Roberto began working for Martin Sprocket and Gear for 12 years and later for Madix for 15 years, retiring in 2011. Roberto was simple, noble, generous and hardworking. He loved spending time with his family. He was passionate about his yard work and indulged in gardening. He was a member of the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and volunteered at the church as an usher. He is survived by his wife Victoria of 46 years; daughters: Yolanda Gonzalez and her husband Mister, Oralia De la Paz and her husband Baudelio; grandchildren: Fabian, Adamary and Gabriela; brothers: Benito, Eloy, Gregorio, Mario and his wife Lydia, and Ruben Gonzalez; sister, Ma. Eliza Gonzalez Reza along with nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and many friends. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 23,2024 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel from 5-7pm. Rosary will be received on Monday, June 24, 2024, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church at 10:30am and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place immediately following the Mass at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell. Roberto González falleció pacíficamente el 18 de junio de 2024 rodeado de sus seres queridos. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y hermanos Jesús, Maurilio, Rogelio y Humberto González. Roberto nació el 01 de septiembre de 1946 en Suchil, Durango, hijo de Gregorio González y Ma. Reyes Moreno. Se casó con el amor de su vida Victoria en 1978. Después de mudarse a Terrell, Roberto comenzó a trabajar para Martin Sprocket and Gear durante 12 años y luego para Madix durante 15 años, retirándose en 2011. Roberto era sencillo, noble, generoso y trabajador. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia. Le apasionaba el trabajo en el jardín. Era miembro de la Iglesia Católica San Juan Apóstol y se ofreció como acomodador voluntario en la iglesia. Le sobrevive su esposa Victoria de 46 años; hijas: Yolanda González y su esposo Míster, Oralia De la Paz y su esposo Baudelio; nietos: Fabián, Adamary y Gabriela; hermanos: Benito, Eloy, Gregorio, Mario y su esposa Lydia, y Rubén González; hermana, Ma. Eliza González Reza junto con sus sobrinas, sobrinos, familiares, familiares de la iglesia y muchos amigos. Se llevará a cabo un velorio el domingo 23 de junio de 2024 en la Capilla Funeraria Max Slayton de 5 a 7 p.m. El Rosario se recibirá el lunes 24 de junio de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica San Juan Apóstol a las 10:30 a. m. y seguirá una Misa de Cristian Entierro a las 11:00 a. m. El entierro se llevará a Cabo inmediatamenta después de la misa en Oakland Memorial Park en Terrell.
